Technological process at nickel plating line 

There is need surface pretreatment for parts before nickel plating process, that applies on any nickel plating technology. This surface pretreatment is right to do by dipping. Parts for galvanic plating are degreased by dip or spray in chemical bath during the surface pretreatment. Effect of dip degreasing could be enhanced by ultrasonic or electrolytic way.  Parts need to rinsed after degreasing and then according to needs etched/pickled with following rinses. Pretreatment is finished and nickel plating comes. If parts that should be nickel plated are not made from copper or copper alloys then there is usually need to do cooper plating. Nickel plating directly on steel or plastic usually have poor adherence. NIckel plating in nickel plating lines are based on surface needs. There are bright nickel, dull nickel, polished half-dull nickel, satin nickel or black nickel used for surface on solar collector. However black nickel is plated as top layer on bright or satin nickel. Parts are rinsed after nickel plating and dried. Goods is transported by manipulators between tanks. Whole design of nickel plating line is in accordance with customer needs. There is given special attention to reach high quality of treated surface, high efficiency and reasonable price of technological device. 

Goods transport at nickel plating line

Parts that should be plated are mostly hanged on racks or tossed into the barrels. Line could be designed in one straight branch or in straight branch where hanging equipment is returned (racks or barrels) or two branches line. More branches for one line usually means line where are more technologies. Line as is it was written use barrel or rack conception, however its combination is usual as well. Manipulation system of line contains lifting stands, galvanic manipulators and transport trucks. Galvanic manipulator we offer in these types - underhanging, portal, half-portal, side. Manipulators could be covered with inner ventilated area. Manipulators could be made with possibility of tilting goods.

Wastes from nickel plating line

Process baths emits waste air (gas, vapors). This waste air could alkaline or acidic. This waste air is sucked off by line ventilation system. Ventilation system might be upgraded for scrubber with integrated droplet separator, which cleanse waste air and remove droplets. Ventilation system might be upgraded by droplet separator, which removes droplets from waste air. Waste water from baths is another important waste created by nickel plating line. This water could be cleansed on our automatic waste water treatment plants or on our manual waste water treatment plants.
