Lines for precious metal coating
Devices for dipping surface treatment (plating) of parts, which are galvanically plated by precious metal we call silver lines, palladium lines, gold lines and other lines or workplaces. Lines or workplaces for plating precious metals are supplied as functional unit, however we can supply even parts (tanks, manipulation systems, hanging devices, ovens, plants for waste water cleansing, air technique (ventilation), water management...) Our precious metal plating lines or workplaces are made according to customer need. Every precious metal plating line or workplace have unique measures.
Technological process at precious metal plating line
There is need surface pretreatment for parts before silver, gold or other precious metal plating process, that applies on any plating technology. This surface pretreatment is right to do by dipping. Parts for galvanic plating are degreased by dip or spray in chemical bath during the surface pretreatment. Effect of dip degreasing could be enhanced by ultrasonic or electrolytic way. Parts need to rinsed after degreasing and then according to needs etched/pickled with following rinses. Pretreatment is finished and galvanic plating comes. Goods for silver plating have to be copper or nickel plated then process continue on silver strike and then silver plating itself. Goods for gold plating have to nickel plated before gold plating itself. Precious metal plating is complicated process in general, which need to be precisely specified for exact product. Most coats is made on parts for decorative purposes or for industrial use (for example electrotechnology parts). Lines or workplaces could be fully automatic or manual. Whole design of precious metal plating line or workplace is in accordance with customer needs. There is given special attention to reach high quality of treated surface, high efficiency and reasonable price of technological device.
Goods transport at precious metal plating line
Silver plating, gold plating or other precious metal plating is usually done in barrels or on racks. Goods transport between poistion could be automatic or manual. Automatical lines are equipped by galvanic manipulators. We offer underhanging, portal, half-portal and side galvanic manipulators.
Wastes from precious metal plating line
Process baths emits waste air (gas, vapors). This waste air could alkaline, acidic or cyanide according to type bath. This waste air is sucked off by line ventilation system. Ventilation system might be upgraded for scrubber with integrated droplet separator, which cleanse waste air and remove droplets. Ventilation system might be upgraded by droplet separator, which removes droplets from waste air. Waste water from baths is another important waste created by precious metal plating line. This water could be cleansed on our automatic waste water treatment plants or on our manual waste water treatment plants. Catching precious metals from waste is another chapter.
